Hortus Oasis is a landscape design firm specializing in residential, commercial and specialty garden design. During our careers over the last two decades, we have experienced a variety of garden styles and plant materials from travels in France, England, Canada, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Caribbean, Thailand, Laos, and many regions of the United States. These inspiring gardens have helped us focus on what we truly enjoy; the design of gardens that touch peoples' lives. Our garden designs embrace a variety of styles: sanctuary, meditation, butterfly, "green", formal, woodland, teaching, small space, native plant, xeric, estate, Japanese, healing, tropical, cottage, and patio gardens. Many of these gardens incorporate a variety of garden elements and ornaments: walkways, obelisks, tuteurs, gazebos, pergolas, arbors, arches, trellises, containers, benches, patios, spas, swimming pools, outdoor kitchens, terraces with sitting walls, decks, water features, and lighting.

Are you in need of a garden design for your home? We are available for consultations and can also provide you with an estimate for a design. The design process starts with a meeting at your home to view your landscape and complete the Program Development Checklist (click on the link to view and/or print a condensed version). The garden design will incorporate your ideas and dreams, and your garden will reflect your personality. During the design process you will learn about gardens, plants, design principles, and gardening.

The landscape plan provides a construction document that serves as a master plan to install the garden all at once or in phases. You may elect to obtain bids from landscape contractors or have us provide that service. You may also decide to install all or parts of the garden yourself. The landscape plan and submittals (bid list, product cut sheets, maintenance instructions, etc.) will provide everything needed to create the garden of your dreams.
